currently reading: Princess Mia by Meg Cabot
The best thing about reading series books late is not having the wait after a cliffhanger ending; I was able to dive right into Princess Mia. Not enjoying this one as much though, probably because Michael is my favorite character and he's off in Japan, and Mia is sunk in deep depression and not communicating much with anyone else. SO chapters of JUST MIA IN HER OWN MISERABLE HEAD - whoopee!
My son is having considerably better luck with his reading. This morning he bopped into our room, kissed his dad on the cheek, and whispered, "look at the clock! There's time for you to read me a chapter of Harry Potter!" They're on the first book and he is loving it. Of course, with Evan doing all the voices, what's not to love? Move over, Tim Curry!
