strange thoughts

As Roy Zimmerman would say: Chrisma-hanu-rama-ka-dona-kwanzaa!

For those celebrating one or more Winter holidays--or just expecting to experience winter--check out my bibligraphy of children's books about Winter and Winter holidays

69

I think someone asked we do this from the point of view of our childhood... but, um, some of these books have only been out ten years or less. Am I the oldest blogger in the kidlitosphere?

And what the heck is Oh the Places You'll Go doing on this list? I have instantly lost all trust in whoever put it together, even with the extra props for including The Trumpet of the Swan.

(You would never know it from this selection, but I do like Dr. Seuss! But almost every one of his titles here really annoyed me as a child.)

Mark the selections you have read in bold. If you liked it, add a star (*) in front of the title, if you didn't, give it a minus (-). Then, put the total number of books you've read in the subject line.
