and in conclusion... beware of Susion!
Wow, that was some 48 hours. It's amazing to me to think I used to do this all the time. Read a children's book, write about it, read another one... it used to be my life. This exercise did not make me sorry it isn't still my life. It's interesting to see how much I can get done when I push myself, and I appreciate the nice fat hole in my TBR shelf, but I also started to feel a bit like the kid in The Chocolate Touch after eating chocolate all the time starts wearing thin.
So, stats. I read 7 and a bit books, 1799 pages, in 14 1/2 hours. I forgot to keep track of my blogging time, but estimate it at 4 1/2 hours. So 19 altogether. It seems kind of measly, out of 48, but of course I was also working and momming.
Best book I read: Milkweed by Jerry Spinelli. Favorite book: hmm. None of them won me over big time, but I probably most enjoyed reading Absolutely, Positively Not by David Larochelle.
