death and creampuffs

My husband is currently reading Charlotte's Web to our four-year-old--the boy who said of Come Back, Amelia Bedelia, "This book is scary because it's about creampuffs." The end--of Charlotte--is nigh, and I hope he can deal.

Next to be read, my choice, is The Animal Family. There's nothing scary in that that I'm forgetting, is there? No eclairs or poppyseed muffins?
